Boca or Bust!!

The Adams, Greenwald, Koerber families all made the trek down to Florida
for a big 'ole vaca!!

Three weeks on the beach - does it get any better than that??

I have to say it was a pretty relaxing vacation for me . . .
(I'm keeping my ankle boot - you never know when I might need to pull that back out
for another vacation!!)



And no, we didn't just sit on the beach EVERY day!!  We ventured out a bit -

 Jason cleaned his plate after a massive dessert at the Bubble Room!!!

 Gary & I even made it out for a belated anniversary date - 19 years of marriage!
Has it really been that long??

 Tired of taking mom's countless photos!!!

 We've been here so long - we're becoming natives :o)

There was a lot of wildlife this time around . . .

herons, fish, crabs, alligators on the golf course and even a manatee (see his tail right there??)

                         



And a trip to Boca Grande just wouldn't be complete

without a drive down Banyan Street!!

And like all good things our trip must eventually come to an end . . .

2nd Annual Lake Trip with the Mondls

Nothing like friends with a lake house!!!  There's a lake about an hour from St. Louis called Goose Creek Lake (we affectionately renamed it Mondl Lake)!  We always have a blast when we get down there!!!

Skiing, swimming, fishing, and relaxing!

So much fun!!!

Summer Fun

Where did the school year go?? 

And silly me, I thought our summer schedule would slow down

but with 4 kids (and a mom with a broken ankle) things were as crazy as ever!

Right after school finished up . . . Aunt Deb, Mike and Grandma G found their way
to St. Louis for a nice visit! 

 A season wouldn't be complete around here without SPORTS!!!
Here we have Coach G with his Cardinal team!!

And Jason played his first year with the Jr. PGA . . . he loved all the tournaments!!!

And just so you don't think the only thing we do around here involves a ball,

here are a few more highlights!!

Kevin went on a Webelos Weeklong campout for Cub Scouts!

The girls went to VBS for the week!

And Jason went on his Grand Teton/Yellowstone Adventure!
Away from home for 9 days!!!  Boy, we missed him!

And that was all in one week!

After that . . .



Kevin tried life as a zookeeper for a day!
He asked for that as a birthday present!
What a great experience!!!

And Daisy got married!  It was love at first sight (sort of)!
Welcome to the family, Trooper!!

Kevin reached double digits - the Big 1-0!!!

Lucy performed in her first gymnastics competition/show!



She earned a first place ribbon on balance beam!

She also had her first horseback riding lesson . . . here she is with Ted!

And then we wrapped up the school year!

Jason ran in the 4x800 relay in the Rockwood School District Track Meet!

He had a solo in the Middle School band concert!

Lucy went with her 1st grade class to the Magic House!  Fun!

Kevin's class finished 2nd in the 4th grade Kickball Championships!
